Copenhagen-based book designer creating covers, interiors and digital-first design for authors and publishers.

I believe a book deserves design that captures its essence and speaks to its market. Every project is different — from literary fiction to thrillers, feel-good, romance and non-fiction — but the goal remains the same: to evoke mood, emotion and connection through covers and interiors.

With a strong focus on digital-first publishing, I understand the importance of designing for a fast-growing and highly competitive streaming landscape, where clarity, atmosphere and instant impact matter. My aim is to help your book reach its audience and stand out, whether you’re self-publishing or working with a traditional publisher.

Based in Copenhagen, I’ve spent the past five years working within the publishing industry, designing and producing Danish and international titles for major publishers and independent authors.

I began my career in publishing with a graphic design apprenticeship at Jentas Books (Copenhagen), where I later worked as both a designer and social media manager, designing and producing a wide range of titles across genres. This was followed by a placement at JP/Politiken’s Forlag, which led to a fixed-term role within their in-house marketing team. Here, I worked with book campaigns across print and digital, while continuing my cover design work across departments, including their digital imprint North Audio Publishing.

That foundation in publishing taught me how to balance creativity with commercial awareness — how to create designs that not only look compelling, but also perform in a competitive and increasingly digital market.

Over the years, I’ve designed several hundred titles across fiction and non-fiction, combining strong visual storytelling with practical publishing insight. Much of my work has been within digital-first publishing, where clarity, hierarchy and strong visual impact are essential.

My approach is intuitive, detail-oriented and collaborative. I care about creating design that feels right for the story, while also keeping the process clear, structured and easy to navigate — guiding each project from first concept to final delivery with focus and intention.

Today, I work independently through my studio, KREATED., collaborating with publishers and authors on covers, interiors and visual design across print and digital formats.
